Once you’ve done your due diligence and know your preferred business name is available, you can reserve the name with the name reservation form at Ohio Business Central.

The fee is $39, and the name will be held for 180 days.

Cost to Register Your LLC in Ohio

To officially form your LLC, you’ll file articles of organization at Ohio Business Central. You’ll need the following information:

  • The name of your LLC
  • The name and address of your LLC’s statutory agent
  • The signature of your statutory agent, accepting their appointment
  • The names and signatures of all incorporators.

In Ohio, the fee is $99, and your LLC should be approved in three to seven business days.

Business Licenses and Permits
